The Purpose of Adversity

In the midst of our circumstances we need to realize that the plans and purposes that the Father has for us have not changed. He is still in control in spite of what the enemy trys to tell you. WE are not in charge, the enemy is not in charge, but HE, our Abba Father is in charge of the situation. The bible tells us to not lean to our own understanding but to trust with Faith that He knows best.
Remember that, Jesus said in this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. The word there in greek for tribulations could be translated as "crushing" as in olives or grapes. We know that the crushing that we are undergoing is only to produce the best vintage out of us. Someone somewhere is in need of the oil and wine that we produce during our crushing. our very own special vintage, a reserved vintage that no one else can produce. It is that oil and wine that we produce that can bring healing to those who need it, including ourselves.
So be patient, and grow not weary in well doing, for we shall reap if we faint not.
You see there is purpose in our adversity, it produces the best from us.
