The Purpose of Adversity

In the midst of our circumstances we need to realize that the plans and purposes that the Father has for us have not changed. He is still in control in spite of what the enemy trys to tell you. WE are not in charge, the enemy is not in charge, but HE, our Abba Father is in charge of the situation. The bible tells us to not lean to our own understanding but to trust with Faith that He knows best.
Remember that, Jesus said in this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. The word there in greek for tribulations could be translated as "crushing" as in olives or grapes. We know that the crushing that we are undergoing is only to produce the best vintage out of us. Someone somewhere is in need of the oil and wine that we produce during our crushing. our very own special vintage, a reserved vintage that no one else can produce. It is that oil and wine that we produce that can bring healing to those who need it, including ourselves.
So be patient, and grow not weary in well doing, for we shall reap if we faint not.
You see there is purpose in our adversity, it produces the best from us.

2009 Year of The DIVINE NEW WINE!!!

2008 is almost over(many of us may breathe a long sigh of relief!)
 2008 was the year of new beginnings and of Opening Heavens Gates, but we must remember that many times new beginnings are fraught with difficulty.  When Israel crossed over Jordan into the Promised Land it was a new beginning for them, a beginning that truly opened up the Gates of Heaven's intended blessing. But, even though they were in the Promised Land the blessing did not just overtake them without them doing something.  The enemy still occupied the land and that meant many battles ahead. 2008 has been a year full of battles, and many of us grew battle weary, but remembering the scripture...."grow not weary in well doing..." we grew weary of Battle but not of well doing.  Israel had many blessing awaiting them, but they were not merely handed to them they had to arise in the Power and Strength of the Lord and overtake the area promised to them. 
I feel that we have done just that, battled for what the Lord has promised us, we have Stormed the enemies gates and WE have prevailed.  A little BRUISED but NOT BROKEN.  

I feel that the Lord is telling us that 2009 is the year of NEW WINE, ABIDING IN THE VINE, and REFINING OF THE BRIDE.  We received a card from Sister Sue Thurston who indicated that 2009 is the year of DIVINE Intervention. I believe that with my whole heart.  Watch and see if the supernatural does not increase, the REVELATION of the Last Day Bridal Outpouring will begin, and I feel that the Lord has said to us that The Former and Later Rain will begin.  The prophet Joel said that the Former and Latter Rain will begin in the first month...that is the month of Nisan....The week of March 26th 2009.  My Spirit is excited to see what DIVINE intervention, and Supernatural things may occur during that time.

Regarding ABIDING IN THE VINE.... 

  the word abiding is an adjective meaning:
Lasting for a long time; enduring:
Abide is verb that means:
tr.

1. To wait patiently for: "I will abide the coming of my lord" (Tennyson).
2. To withstand: a thermoplastic that will abide rough use and great heat.

VERB:
intr.

1. To remain in a place.
2. To continue to be sure or firm; endure. 
3. To dwell or sojourn.

2008 was a year of great battles and now is the time for the Bride to dwell in Her Bridegroom the DIVINE VINE.

Regarding New Wine...
In 2009 I feel that we will see such supernatural outpouring of the New Wine of the Spirit that the Brides Breath will catch.  We will be suddenly overtaken by surprises from the Spirit that will thrill and awe  the Bride.
New wine is created by the first crushing of the fruit, it is unfermented and refreshing, lawful, not intoxication producing. 
2008 was a year of the crushing of the fruit of the Vine and now is the time to enjoy the fruits of our labor, to be refreshed and renewed. For Such Times Like These our Bridegroom Jesus has prepared a place of supernatural rest and refreshing for us.

Regarding The Refining of the Bride...
Refining is defined as:
Refining (also called affining) is the process of purification of a substance. The term is usually used of a natural resource that is almost in a usable form, but which is more useful in its pure form. Refining is also known as a process of separating the impure from the pure, Those who have battled in 2008 have shown themselves to be the ones searching for purity and the way of the Bridegroom so now He will place them over to one side to abide in Him and be refreshed and renewed in preparation for the MIGHTY OUTPOURING of power.
Refining is also known as affining and the definition of affining is most curious in relation to the Bride.
Affining is defined...

1. (mathematics) Of or pertaining to a transformation 
2. (chemistry) Having mutual affinity, of two materials.

an affinity is defined as:

1. A natural attraction, liking, or feeling of kinship.
2. Relationship by marriage.
3. An inherent similarity between persons or things. A synonym would be "likeness"
4. Chemistry An attraction or force between particles that causes them to combine.

So 2009 I feel will be the year the Bride begins to come into her Power and Image of her Bridegroom Jesus. We have been through the Fire and the Battle now is the time for us to reap the results of the transformation!!

Regarding Divine Intervention
Divine intervention is defined as:(noun)

"an extraordinary event manifested by God intervening in human affairs"

(THAT MAKES ME WANT TO SHOUT!!!!)

It is time for God to arise and manifest the Bride.  The world needs her to do what she is empowered to do! As I have said above....God The Holy Spirit is getting ready to explode into, upon, and through The Bride.

So as we say goodbye to 2008 know this.....2009 is the year we the Bride have been waiting on!


disclaimer: Please note that the prophetic word in this blog post pertains to the Bride.  There is a difference in The Bride and the church.  The scripture says...."many are called but few are chosen.." this choosing is done by us, we choose to leave "Church as usual" behind and seek to be in the Bride.  Its very simple to be in the Bride.....just sellout to Jesus and love Him like a Bride does her Bridegroom.  If you do that you will seek to do all that He asks, to please Him, not man or church. Taste of Faith

Isn't it wonderful that we have such a Savior? A Savior that freely gives to us faith, faith that is so strong that in our weakness it is made stronger. In the midst of adversity Jesus arises within us, His Bride, to empower us even in the midst of our doubts. Jesus told us in Matthew chap 6 to be anxious for nothing, to trust God for everything, every little detail of our lives. Our food, our clothes, our shelter.....everything. Peter writes to us and tells us to "Cast all our cares on Him as He cares for us." Sometimes doubt tries to arise within us, as we are only human, but remember that even Jesus had moments of agonizing about the Fathers will. In the garden he prayed if it was the Father's will to remove the cup set before Him yet He had enough faith to trust the Father to empower Him to drink the cup if need be. That is how our lives are, we must be willing to drink whatever cup the Father sets before us. It is normal to balk at the taste of it, sometimes it tastes like faith and sometimes it tastes like doubt, but regardless of the taste, we know He gives us the strength to drink it. Remember the commission in Mark 16 given to us by Jesus, ..."and if you drink any deadly thing it will in no means hurt you..." so, drink up and trust Him to make it good for you.

HEARKEN UNTO THEIR VOICE YET PROTEST SOLEMNLY UNTO THEM!!!!

In 1st Samuel 8:1-22 Israel demanded a king to rule over them in defiance of God's plan.  I know that God is sovereign and that all things are no surprise to Him, but remember in this passage of scripture that God's plan was not for a king to rule over them. 
God allowed it because of the people.  We as the Bride of Christ have done the right thing and stood for what is right, voted the Bible, but the vast majority of church folk, and sinners have done just what Israel did in this scripture and I fear the same end result will be for America as for Israel. The scripture states:
1Sa 8:18-19  And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us.
Note that the scripture does not say because of your king which I have chosen you, it states that they will cry out because of the king Israel chose for herself.  God did not want a king, Israel did,
God knew that Saul would not be what He needed to be. Likewise America has chosen a ruler who stands for and supports things contrary to the bible. And eventually they will cry out because of this choice.

We need to support the office of the President, and pray that God will change his heart, and never cease our opposition to that which is against the bible.  It is now FOR SUCH TIMES LIKE THESE that God has caused His Bride to arise in power(dunamis).  We have the authority(exousia) and now is our time to manifest our Saviour's goal of Kingdom Come.
The nation has cried out for unity, but the Spirit has been crying out separation; Not a separation of people,races, or parties, but a separation of the Bride from the world.

PLAN:
PRAY FOR THE PRESIDENT ELECT.  Pray that God will change his heart and open his eyes, removing the deception from his mind and reveal to him the truth regarding abortion, homosexual agenda, and socialist causes
.
CONTINUE TO STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT Lift up the standard of the bible, stand for justice, stand for the unborn, pray that the Sanctity of Life act will be passed. Contact all the organizations you can and volunteer.  Stand against what is not Godly.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CHURCH. Pray and fast, seek God's face, study the word, pray for revival in America, be an active worshiper, tithe, go beyond the four walls of your church and take the power of the Bridegroom out to this world. When it begins to change, and not all for the better, then America will begin to flock to the Bride for help and answers.

NEVER DESPAIR.  We who stood for what is right must continue to take the high road and not be argumentative with those who did not. Just as Samuel did, he did not argue with them, but allowed God to deal with their decision.  We must pray for them, be Jesus to them, and with our lives convince them of what is right.  We must tell them the truth, reveal the scriptures to them, we must turn the tide by letting them know we are not pleased with the result but that we serve GOD who is in control, not one man or another.


In light of all this let us leave you with the following:

 "Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and
meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling,
gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things
to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from
me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes
everything work together, will work you into his most excellent
harmonies."[Philippians 4:8-9 The Message]

Bride of Christ ARISE!
This is a critical time for the Bride to arise and begin to seek the Bridegroom like never before.  We are facing the most important election of our lifetimes, it not not a referendum on party politics but it is a separation of Biblical Principles and Humanist Philosophy.
It is time for us to Repent and seek God's face to Heal our land,  Lou Engle has penned a prayer that we need to plead before our Father daily.
I Plead Your Blood,
Over My Sins,
And The Sins of My Nation
God, End Abortion and Send Revival to America.

Bride of Christ we need to ARISE and take back what the enemy has stolen, The thief has been found out, make him return to us 7 fold what he has stolen.

The ElijahList - Prophetic Words and Prophecies

Approximately 2 years ago the Lord spoke to me concerning our church and said this......
"Behold I have planted you here as a Tree by Living Waters, now is the time to bring forth the fruit I have placed upon you and birth what I have placed within you"
     I feel that the culmination of this prophetic word is coming to fruition now during this time of "The Days of Awe".
 It is time for the Warrior Bride to arise and put on her strength by preparing herself during these days.
      A Warrior Bride must be a pure bride, ready to go to war, but never to go without preparation and listening to the voice of the commander.  I encourage all of you who read this blog to consider the following Word from the Lord given by Curt Landry as a word of preparation, direction and affirmation  from our commander, our Bridegroom Jesus.

Rosh Hashanah is the Hebrew new year according to the civil calendar, but it is also called The Birthday of the World as it celebrates the "anniversary" of the creation of Adam and Eve.During Rosh Hashanah the shofar is sounded as a call to repentance. Rosh Hashanah is the beginning of the Days of Awe, a period of time for introspection and repentance. It is believed that Yom Kippur is a time of repentance and restoration between God and mankind, while the Days of Awe is a time to seek forgiveness and make amends between man and man - a time for mankind to seek reconciliation with one another, and if possible right the wrongs committed.Jewish tradition holds the belief that judgment is pronounced on each person on Rosh Hashanah. The concept of judgment and decrees has a negative connotation to many, but allow me to remind you that judgment is simply the formation of an opinion after consideration, or as Merriam-Webster states, "a formal utterance of an authoritative opinion."Judgment is the friend of those who desire right-standing with God. When your life is right with God, a judgment should be a "formal utterance" of reward - it should not be feared, but rather something you are looking forward to. Judgment is a friend of the righteous!As a Believer, I view the Days of Awe as a beautiful picture of salvation. Is it not true of each of us that we deserve a judgment that is not in our favor? And yet, through Jesus we have the opportunity to repent, to return to the Lord. Is it not also true that this life is but a vapor?The Days of Awe also act as a reminder to me that our days to seek reconciliation with our family and friends are numbered. I would encourage you to take advantage of this reminder during this special season and seek to make amends with one another. Begin the new year with purified hands, a clean heart and healed relationships. Begin the new year right with both God and man.It is my prayer for the Days of Awe, that the song that says, "I stand, I stand in awe of You" would truly become the heart cry of the Body of Christ. That we would stand in awe, in wonder, in respect, in fear, in reverence, and in amazement of what God has done in our lives and the great mercy we have received.
