2009 Year of The DIVINE NEW WINE!!!

2008 is almost over(many of us may breathe a long sigh of relief!)
 2008 was the year of new beginnings and of Opening Heavens Gates, but we must remember that many times new beginnings are fraught with difficulty.  When Israel crossed over Jordan into the Promised Land it was a new beginning for them, a beginning that truly opened up the Gates of Heaven's intended blessing. But, even though they were in the Promised Land the blessing did not just overtake them without them doing something.  The enemy still occupied the land and that meant many battles ahead. 2008 has been a year full of battles, and many of us grew battle weary, but remembering the scripture...."grow not weary in well doing..." we grew weary of Battle but not of well doing.  Israel had many blessing awaiting them, but they were not merely handed to them they had to arise in the Power and Strength of the Lord and overtake the area promised to them. 
I feel that we have done just that, battled for what the Lord has promised us, we have Stormed the enemies gates and WE have prevailed.  A little BRUISED but NOT BROKEN.  

I feel that the Lord is telling us that 2009 is the year of NEW WINE, ABIDING IN THE VINE, and REFINING OF THE BRIDE.  We received a card from Sister Sue Thurston who indicated that 2009 is the year of DIVINE Intervention. I believe that with my whole heart.  Watch and see if the supernatural does not increase, the REVELATION of the Last Day Bridal Outpouring will begin, and I feel that the Lord has said to us that The Former and Later Rain will begin.  The prophet Joel said that the Former and Latter Rain will begin in the first month...that is the month of Nisan....The week of March 26th 2009.  My Spirit is excited to see what DIVINE intervention, and Supernatural things may occur during that time.

Regarding ABIDING IN THE VINE.... 

  the word abiding is an adjective meaning:
Lasting for a long time; enduring:
Abide is verb that means:
tr.

1. To wait patiently for: "I will abide the coming of my lord" (Tennyson).
2. To withstand: a thermoplastic that will abide rough use and great heat.

VERB:
intr.

1. To remain in a place.
2. To continue to be sure or firm; endure. 
3. To dwell or sojourn.

2008 was a year of great battles and now is the time for the Bride to dwell in Her Bridegroom the DIVINE VINE.

Regarding New Wine...
In 2009 I feel that we will see such supernatural outpouring of the New Wine of the Spirit that the Brides Breath will catch.  We will be suddenly overtaken by surprises from the Spirit that will thrill and awe  the Bride.
New wine is created by the first crushing of the fruit, it is unfermented and refreshing, lawful, not intoxication producing. 
2008 was a year of the crushing of the fruit of the Vine and now is the time to enjoy the fruits of our labor, to be refreshed and renewed. For Such Times Like These our Bridegroom Jesus has prepared a place of supernatural rest and refreshing for us.

Regarding The Refining of the Bride...
Refining is defined as:
Refining (also called affining) is the process of purification of a substance. The term is usually used of a natural resource that is almost in a usable form, but which is more useful in its pure form. Refining is also known as a process of separating the impure from the pure, Those who have battled in 2008 have shown themselves to be the ones searching for purity and the way of the Bridegroom so now He will place them over to one side to abide in Him and be refreshed and renewed in preparation for the MIGHTY OUTPOURING of power.
Refining is also known as affining and the definition of affining is most curious in relation to the Bride.
Affining is defined...

1. (mathematics) Of or pertaining to a transformation 
2. (chemistry) Having mutual affinity, of two materials.

an affinity is defined as:

1. A natural attraction, liking, or feeling of kinship.
2. Relationship by marriage.
3. An inherent similarity between persons or things. A synonym would be "likeness"
4. Chemistry An attraction or force between particles that causes them to combine.

So 2009 I feel will be the year the Bride begins to come into her Power and Image of her Bridegroom Jesus. We have been through the Fire and the Battle now is the time for us to reap the results of the transformation!!

Regarding Divine Intervention
Divine intervention is defined as:(noun)

"an extraordinary event manifested by God intervening in human affairs"

(THAT MAKES ME WANT TO SHOUT!!!!)

It is time for God to arise and manifest the Bride.  The world needs her to do what she is empowered to do! As I have said above....God The Holy Spirit is getting ready to explode into, upon, and through The Bride.

So as we say goodbye to 2008 know this.....2009 is the year we the Bride have been waiting on!
